Questions we are often asked...

How often should my staff have Refresher Training?
Legally, there is no set frequency on Refresher Training. It is recommended that Refresher Training should be between 3-5 years or as it is specified on your Risk Assessment or Insurer's requirements.

Will my Counterbalance Licence cover me driving a Reach Truck?
Unfortunately not as  your counterbalance & Reach Trucks are classed as two different types of machine and they don't have the same operating procedures.

How can I get my Reach Truck Licence?
If you have a Counterbalance Licence then you can convert this to a Reach Licence (see Conversion course above) which means you could operate either truck type. The training time and cost is reduced if you convert your licence within 30 days of successfully achieving your initial licence. This also works from Reach to Counterbalance Licences.

What is NORS?
This is the industry National Operators Registration Scheme which any employer can access to ensure you have the correct licence according to their requirements and it also give assurance that you have received the appropriate Accredited Training.
